How did you get involved?
I told Libby that the only way I would stop teaching the K-4 was if I could teach a 5th and 6th class.  She encouraged me to go for it.

Best part of your role?
Being able to think about how to present the Bible to this age group and try and get them excited about it.

One thing God is teaching you while leading this ministry?
I really need Him and I want to prepare little saints for the future.

Your faith story?
I was raised in a Christian home and converted sometime during or before my 8th year.  I struggled deeply with lack of assurance while still evidencing true salvation.  I learned finally to get my assurance from the Word of God.  My walk with Christ has been one of protection from the Evil One and God showing me that if one follows His Word He is faithful to do what He says. Most recently I have been learning what it means to be a person of grace and how one overcomes sin through the chief motivation of love for Christ.

Your favorite place on earth?
Maynard Street where I live.

Makes you laugh?
My kids.

Makes you cry?
Seeing Christians overcome adversity makes me cry with pride.
