Ministry description
Ushers do their best work when no one notices.  Our role as ushers is to do everything we can to ensure that those attending the Sunday morning service can focus their attention on worship rather than other distractions.  We help people find seats,  collect the offering,  distribute newsletters and welcome people to the worship service.

How did you get involved?
I worked as an usher in both high school and college,  and when we began attending Crossroads I realized there was a need for more help in this area.

Your passion?
The chance to meet new people every week and welcome them to the service.

Your faith story?
I grew up in a Christian home with Godly parents who did everything they could to ensure that I would choose to follow Christ.  Though by no stretch was it always a smooth journey,  Proverbs 22:6 has proven true in my case thus far,  and I hope it will in the lives of my own children.

Your favorite place on earth?
Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Gitche Gumee Bible Camp to be specific.

Makes you laugh?  
My daughters and big blue usher name tags.
