How did you get involved?
I got involved in the Guest Ministry as I was looking for a place to contribute the gifts God has given me.  My passion is to see all people engaged in God’s word and to be connected with those who worship Christ. The Sunday Connections Ministry gives me an opportunity to meet newcomers and help them get connected.

The best part about my role?
What I particularly like about serving in this way is the opportunity to meet new folks and to provide them with encouragement and insight about getting connected here at Crossroads.

What has God taught you through this Ministry?
God has taught me to be patient.  Most Sunday’s come without a guest stopping by as they may wait until the second or third time they attend or there may not be a guest that weekend.  It’s easy sometimes to be discouraged and think that my time waiting is in vain, however, God has shown me that waiting for that one individual who needed for you to be there can be a great reward.

How is God at work in your life, what is your passion?
God’s word has exposed me, strengthened me, consoled me, gripped me, and nourished me.  Since I confessed Jesus as my Lord, He has given me the strength and ability to say no to sinful actions which I had previously been enslaved to.  My passion is to connect people to God’s word and to Jesus Christ so that they might experience the gift that God has given us.

Your favorite place on earth?
My favorite place on this earth is any nature escape. I have especially enjoyed Yosemite National Park and Alaska.  To be surrounded by nature is exhilarating.

Makes you laugh?  
I love my wife and my two daughters very much.  They make me laugh at times, as well as, cry.  All in a very joyful way.
